HELP THE CAUSE
You might be concerned and frustrated at how the government is handling immigration. Every advanced economy from Japan to the USA needs immigration. But it has got to be the right kind of immigration.
Immigration cannot be seen in isolation. It is the whole environment in the country. When people come to our country they see the lack of law and order. They see a country where you can get away with murder. Drunk drivers who kill and injure people get away with a slap on the wrist. The government has almost given up on gangs and the drug culture. Not only immigrants but the population at large is begining to realise that crime does pay.
Ministers and senior officials try to justify putting people in hotel rooms and other accomodation which is costing you hundreds of pounds a night. Big companies are being given big contracts because it is all about being on the governments VIP route.
It is not just the government. Opposition politicians have no solutions. They talk about what can be done if we came out of the ECHR. But that will take years. We want to know what can be done now.
The media keep interviewing people who have learnt about immigration from books. They present brilliant academic arguments which will not solve the problem in the near future. Our new immigration minister has told us with pride that he has spoken to three illegal immigrants and indicated his policies would be based on what they told him. He is the MP for Dover where the problem is out of control. Tell the minister to resign or come up with a solution that will work immediately.
Tell your MP we require a sensible immigration policy not later but now. Tell your MP not a penny more to house undocumented illegal migrants than what a local person would pay for accomodation. Tell your MP that the law against violent criminals and those who cause misery must be made tougher so people do not see this country as somewhere where they can get away lightly if they commit crimes. Tell the new Home Secretary we do not need foreign dancers, we need care workers.
